The Mission of the Career Development Team is to establish and maintain
a Career Development Program that results in each student leaving Athens
Drive High School with goals, visions, and the necessary skills and knowledge

Membership and Sourcing
The mission of the membership and sourcing team is to support the Athens drive business alliance
by providing the necessary resources needed to meet the alliance's goals and objectives. (Resources
may include but are not limited to businesses, people, community organizations, educational institutions,
materials, and ideas)

- Support implementation of the school-to-career grant
- Define process for sharing with other business alliances

The mission of the staff development team is to create learning experiences that support
teachers in their acquisition of the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed to enhance the education
of all students to become responsible and productive citizens.

The mission of the technology team is to assist with the integration of technology into the
school (hardware and software connectivity) and to facilitate teacher integration of technology into
their curricular areas.

Steering
The mission of the steering team is to guide the activities of the business alliance insuring
alignment between the activities and Athens drive/alliance missions and
to develop and introduce new concepts and activities to the alliance.
- Membership includes:
Principal, Alliance chair, Assistant Chair, previous year chair, school CDC, school at-large
and business at-large.
- Meets 2nd Friday each month (1 hour)
- Co-chaired by Principal and Alliance chair
- Determines monthly Alliance agenda and future activities
