Welcome – Witold Sieradzan
- William Crockett comes to Athens Drive from Holly Ridge Middle School in Holly Springs where he has served as principal since 2003. He has over 30 years experience in education. Welcome!
- Atrin Assa, ADHS Sophomore, joins us and will serve on the Technology Team.
- Dan Laffey, ADHS ATV Instructor, also joins us as a member of the Technology Team.

- Mr. Lowman is principal at Leesville High School
- Sophomores can elect to stay at their schools if they are affected by reassignment.

MP3 Project - Dan Laffey
- Server space is available, Podcasting of Daily ADHS Newscast from the ADHS website should be available in about 1 month. This will allow students, teachers and parents to download the audio version of the newscast for immediate listening or later listening.
CDC Report – Jane Dodge
- 45 students were recognized at the CTE Champions celebration for their excellent work and positive attitudes. Don Shupe spoke to students about character traits.
- Several ADHS students thinking of careers as educators will be beginning new Internships at nearby schools.
- Shadowing Day is Feb 1st. Let Jane know if you are interested in taking students.
- CTE week is February 13th - 17th. Jane is planning tours and a reception. Joy will be contacting Wake County School board member to see if they are interested in attending.
- Planning for Xtreme Beginnings countywide career fair has begun and will be held late April.
Team Reports - Team Chairs

- Self Assessment of Alliance will be done this year in March or April
- Amy met with faculty to communicate about BA
- Communication - Kelly
- Fall Alliance Notes complete and distributed
- Winter Alliance Notes complete, will distribute once edit is complete
- Technology - Mike/Dan
- MP3/Podcasting project is at the forefront of Technology Team's efforts
- Witold and Wake Tech have taken lead on strengthening ADHS Website
- Membership - Don
- Hal will be putting together a report on ESL and any needs he foresees the BA being able to assist with.
- Social will be held in April at Gregory Poole
- Banking and Hospitality Industries may make good BA partners
- Career and Student Development - Jane
- Inviting elected officials/Wake County School Board members to ADHS for tours during CTE week
- Joy completed Myers Brigs workshop
- Several BA members have spoken to students about character traits
- Staff Development - Amy
- Speaker list has been developed and being maintained by Amy for distribution to teachers

William Crockett took the Myers Brigs and Joy gave feedback on the results.
