Kristy Eubanks, President of McLaurin Parking, will be joining the Business Alliance.  She has served on other Business Alliances and has two children at Athens Drive High School.

Principal’s Report:  Mr. Crockett

• The new CDC will start on February 12th.  Amy Schroeder has a background in education and comes to Athens from State Farm.

Charlie will attend the February meeting.  There was no January faculty meeting.

Strategic Plan Mid year Review:  Team Leaders
Staff and Alliance Report – Edna

• Strategic Plan – Witold is in process of revisiting the handbook
• Staff Analysis Development – Edna V.  reported that Jane has a list of all the vendors, she needs to find that list and get an updated list to the faculty.

Technology: Doug Foster

• Project #1 Wireless & Viper – Mr. Crockett said they were here yesterday looking at the wireless set up.  They are to install wireless in media center. It should have been done last year.
• Project # 2: Technology Survey – The students were to present the questions for the survey to the Doug and then to the Alliance.  Doug/Mr. Crockett will touch base with them again.
• William Crockett – Next homeroom is in two weeks and this could be a possible date to distribute the student survey.
• Doug Foster – I tried to email Bradley to get an update, but it bounced back
• Project # 3: ADTV Pod Cast – overcame some technical hurdles & Mr. Lafferty is waiting on Doug to do a few more technical details (media formats, etc.), just about done
• Project #4: Update Athens website
• Doug sent Mary Payment (Wake Tech) changes to the ADHS website
• Mary was to get with Chris Danehour (spelling), she was to review old stuff and see what needed to be updated

Old Business:
Reimburse Kelly for flowers

New Business

• Drew Baird wants to bring entrepreneurships at NCSU to Athens
• Expanding the entrepreneurships by meeting with the new CDC and the Business Teacher/Dist. Chair Pat Moore
• Possibly establishing and entrepreneurship club that would serve as a catalyst for next Fall when NCSU rolls this out
