• Lockout @ ADHS due to verbal threat, code yellow lockdown.  Rumors later dispelled.
• Staff and students did a great job.
• Student assignment plan should not affect ADHS.  Impact of this decision could potentially affect current year round schools.

CDC Report:  Amy

• Mary Payment and Amy will be working on updating the Career Development/Alliance website
• May 23rd - Prom
• May 17th – Senior Awards night
• Murphy Center and RBC trips
• Discussion on how Business Alliance can better “advertise” the Alliance and the CDC.

NCSU Entrepreneurial Program:

• The entrepreneurial program at NCSU is a deveoloping degree program, bachelor’s degree available.
• Trying to generate an entrepreneurship center at NCSU.  Program wants to include local high schools to get the word out to students that this is an area of study.
• Speakers want to reach out to high school, need to get entry into high schools.  CDCs are a great point of entry.

ADHS April Faculty Meeting:  Kelly
Discussion of how teachers have to cover classes if teacher substitutes are unavailable.  Teachers need to use their planning periods to cover other classes.
Doug will attend the May 14th faculty meeting with Witold is his backup.
